Omani Football Association officially announced that it had reached an agreement with Portuguese coach Queros, who will serve as the head coach of the Omani national team.

Queiros, 72, is familiar with Asian football. He has coached the UAE, Iran and Qatar. In his early years, Queiros also coached Real Madrid and Portugal's national teams.
