Sores Fvg Operation Center cooperates with the local government of Udinine, the police headquarters, the Italian Red Cross, the Health Bureau of the Central University of Friuli and other institutions to provide necessary medical coverage for the stadium and the city center area where fans often gather. The number of medical, nursing and rescue personnel deployed during the European Super Cup was determined, and ambulances and dedicated rescue vehicles were provided to shorten the medical response time as much as possible and ensure safe rescue in each area.
At the Friuli Stadium where the competition is held, a dedicated medical center will be set up from the afternoon of the same day, with 8 doctors and as many nurses as possible working here. In addition, 7 ambulances were arranged in the stadium and ready to participate in treatment at any time. Two teams of rescuers were deployed on both sides of the field, while another 11 teams of rescuers would be distributed in various areas on the stadium stands to quickly respond to any possible emergencies.
In Maggio 1 Square and Moreti Park in downtown Udinone are two fan gathering areas, where 6 ambulances are arranged, 4 of which are equipped with advanced rescue facilities, 2 with basic rescue facilities, and 1 medical insurance vehicle is ready to support. The Italian Red Cross will directly manage the relevant rescue equipment, work closely with the Sores Fvg Operation Center, and connect to the local general medical service system, allowing resource arrangements to be adjusted according to circumstances.
The Santa Maria Loving Hospital in Udine has set up a specific medical district dedicated to any medical emergency situation related to the European Super Cup. In order to quickly accommodate patients who need immediate treatment, even if a large number of patients appear in a short period of time, timely treatment can be ensured. The hospital is also an integral part of the medical network, ensuring direct contact with rescue services in the area and ambulances during the race. Giulino Trillo, head of the Operations Center at Sores Fvg, said the current medical facilities are able to respond comprehensively to rescue needs during the European Super Cup, and the Red Cross and local medical staff have also made extraordinary efforts to address all possible emergencies.
