Former Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman was the one who single-handedly promoted Pedri to make his debut in the Barcelona first team. Koeman, who is now in charge of the Dutch national team, has another young talent in the Oranje team who reminds him of Pedri. He is the 19-year-old Alkmaar midfielder Keith Smit, who has not yet represented the Dutch national team in the adult team.
