German media: Dortmund will hold a membership meeting to vote on the proposal to change the team emblem

According to German media reports, the club will hold a members meeting on November 23 to vote on whether Dortmund should change the team logo.
This vote is not only to elect a new chairman, but also to decide on the launch of a new team emblem, or rather, the restoration of the old team emblem.
The proposal put forward by Dortmund fan Sam-Joel Lunken was passed and entered the voting stage. The proposal proposes replacing the current team crest with a modernized version of the one used by Dortmund from 1974 to 1976 and 1978 to 1993.
Lunken wrote in the proposal: "We send a clear message to the outside world: We have a glorious history and are proud of our achievements."
Dortmund currently uses this team emblem on special jerseys, cup jerseys and various merchandise. The new version of the team emblem has two more black outer rings around the words "BVB 09", and the yellow is slightly darker.
Lunken believes that the team emblem is deeply loved by fans, as evidenced by its high sales and rave reviews. However, the application is reportedly unlikely to succeed.
