According to Sky Sports, Newcastle has raised its offer to RB Leipzig striker Sesco, with the latest offer being slightly below £70 million (about €80 million) margin, plus additional terms.

Newcartes made its first offer to Leipzig last Saturday, and the two sides have been negotiating since Sky Sports exclusively disclosed a bonus of £65.3 million + £4.36 million (€75 million + €5 million). Manchester United are also discussing their follow-up actions for Cesco in this meal.

At present, Manchester United has not yet made a formal offer, but they are already aware of Newcastle's latest bid, and they have made it clear that they will not be involved in the quotation war and will remain rational. Sesco himself is open to the plans of both clubs, but some sources revealed that if Manchester United can reach an agreement with Leipzig, he is more inclined to join Manchester United.

It is reported that Manchester United hopes to know clearly whether Cesco is only willing to join them before the official bid.
