According to Romano, AEK Athens is about to loan former Inter Milan midfielder Joao Mario.

Romano wrote: "AEK Athens has reached an agreement with Besiktas to loan Joao Mario. He is about to start a new chapter in Greece."

Joao Mario is 32 years old and was loaned out by Benfica last season and was bought out by 2 million euros this summer.
