Liverpool striker Diogo Jota unfortunately passed away in a car accident at the age of 28.

Former Liverpool teammate and Japanese midfielder Takumi Minami posted a black and white photo of Wakata taking a photo with the Premier League champion trophy to mourn the striker who died young.

Takumi Minamino played for Liverpool from January 2020 to July 2022, and has been teammates with Jota for two seasons.
