According to reporter Ivan Quirós, Girona's trade in introducing Villa left-back Moreno has made progress.

Moreno's contract with Villa expires in 2026. Girona is interested in the 32-year-old Spanish left-back and the negotiations have made progress.

Girona has reached an agreement with Villa on the salary ratio for the last year of the player's contract (about 2 million euros). It is not clear at present whether Girona will sign Moreno on loan (one year) or whether the player will join Girona after the termination of the contract with Villa (two years of signing). Moreno has previously communicated with Girona coach Michel.
