UEFA officially announced that Croatian football legend Rakitic has become a member of the board of directors of the UEFA Children's Foundation. Rakitic obviously has something to say about his new role.

On social media, Rakitic wrote: It was a great honor to attend my first UEFA Children's Foundation Board of Directors meeting and to be able to participate in this meaningful project with so many outstanding people. Thanks to the Foundation and UEFA President Ceferin for their trust and warm welcome. Football has the power to change lives and it all starts with giving children the chance to dream, play and believe.
