On Wednesday local time, Dortmund officially announced that 18-year-old central defender Taylor Mezer joined Borussia Mönchengladbacht.

Taylor Mezel joined Dortmund U14 in 2020 and played for youth teams of all levels. He was promoted to U23 this summer. Dortmund officials said the young player filed a transfer application last week and the club approved his request.

Bergward Mönchengladbach's official statement said that Myzer signed a long-term contract with the club and he will represent Borussia Mönchengladbach's U23 in the new season.
