Today Forbes announced the highest-paid football players in 2025. Neymar, who ranked third on the list last year, did not appear in the top 10. Forbes also talked about the players' income this season in the article.

Forbes stated that Neymar could earn approximately US$110 million last season, including the US$80 million annual salary contract given by Riyadh Crescent.

However, Neymar parted ways with Crescent in January and returned to his childhood team Santos. This decision also meant that he needed to accept a significant salary cut, even though he signed a new contract in June.

Forbes estimates that Neymar's total income this season is "only" US$38 million, and most of it comes from off-field income.
