Muller recently officially joined the new owner, MEF Vancouver White Lang, and moved into a premium apartment in the local downtown area. In an interview with Biography, the player revealed that he will temporarily live in Canada alone. In the interview, Mueller said: "I will be here alone until December at least. I came here mainly for sports reasons. The season has been very compact until December, but there are national team game intervals. But that is not the only reason. Another reason is that (wife) Lisa is participating in equestrian competitions and plans to move on a large scale now is not suitable." Mueller said that he is already a big boy and can clean and cook by himself, but his most concerned about football is always football: "The apartment is in a good location, from there you can see the stadium, and the lights at night are very beautiful, although it is blue (the color of Bayern's archenemy Munich 1860), but it is still beautiful."

In order to better adapt to life in Canada, Mueller also hopes that his teammates can help him, and he hopes that he is regarded as an ordinary player rather than a star in the team. To this end, he also asked the club's sports director Schuster for his teammates' phone numbers in advance to introduce himself and eliminate their concerns. His message to the team is: I don’t want to be a special member, I just want to be a part of you.
