Honorary member Fichtel passed away at the age of 95, Bayern officially issued a condolence message

On Thursday local time, Bayern officially issued a message to commemorate honorary member Artur Fichtl, who passed away this week.
Bayern officially stated that the club bid farewell to honorary member Artur Fichtl with a heavy heart. He died this week at the age of 95 and will be buried tomorrow in his hometown of Munich.
The former caterer at the Hackerzelt Oktoberfest has been a Bayern member since April 3, 1954, and is number 15 on the FC Bayern Munich membership roster.
Bayern Chairman Hainer said: "Artur Fichtel has been a member of Bayern Munich for more than 70 years: every club hopes to have a loyal partner like him, because Bayern Munich is much more than its professional team - it is people like Arthur Fichtel who support our club. Our thoughts are with his family, relatives and friends."
