Get a new lease of life! RMC: Two years after his suicide attempt, French midfielder Beka scores his first goal in three years

According to RMC reports, after attempting suicide two years ago, 24-year-old French midfielder Alexis Beka Beka regained a new lease of life in Belgium.
This Saturday, Beca, who plays for La Louviere in Belgium, scored his first official goal in the past three years. Although the team eventually lost to Antwerp with a score of 1-3, this was undoubtedly one of the most touching scenes this weekend.
In September 2023, Beka, who was still playing for Nice, fell into a deep psychological dilemma. He tried to commit suicide by jumping off a viaduct, but was eventually saved by firefighters. Subsequently, he went through a long recovery process and gradually regained his mental health with the help of psychiatrists and psychological counselors. In addition, he also hired a physical coach and began physical recovery training with the goal of returning to a high-level professional competition.
After returning to Caen, where he was trained, Beka rediscovered the joy of playing football in the reserve team. This summer, he signed a two-year contract with newly promoted Belgian club Marallouviers. He made his debut in the Belgian Cup at the end of October and Saturday's game was his first league game of the season. He came on as a substitute in the 77th minute and scored ten minutes later with a brilliant right-footed shot.
