Recently, Stuttgart sports director Walgmutt gave an exclusive interview to RTL/NTV and sports.de, and he talked about the sale of the team's core Walter Mad this summer window.

◉ About Walter Mad's departure and triggering so-called differences between the head coach and the sports management "I understand this question and must ask it the same. But in reality, everything is fine. When a coach loses his core player, it is completely understandable that there may be a night or two that may not sleep well."

◉ About the sale of Walter Mad has caused internal controversy.

"We look forward. There will always be discussions and there may be fierce differences. But this is the manifestation of our openness and honest communication."

◉ Despite losing Walter Mad, Walgmut still has confidence in the team's roster.

Walgmut said: "What will the team achieve in the end? It will take six, seven or eight months to find out. We sent away two main players - Enzo Milo and Waltermad, but on the other hand, we retained most of the lineup. The system we worked hard to build last year can continue to rely on this skeleton. We can continue to move forward and bring the experience we got last season to the new season."

◉ Stuttgart qualified for the UEFA Cup with the German Cup championship, and they also introduced some "promising" players.

Walgmutt said: "So I am very confident that not only we have a good lineup now, but this lineup will soon get better."

◉ Stuttgart's UEFA Champions League journey, Walgmut is full of expectations

"As Stuttgart, we can represent Germany in Europe again, which is a huge honor. Last year was the Champions League, and now it is an almost equally attractive UEFA Champions League. We are looking forward to it. Drawing lots to our opponents will only make the expectations stronger."

In the opening game of the UEFA Champions League group stage, Stuttgart will face the Spanish team Celta. They will challenge Basel away in early October. The opponents followed include: Fenerbahce, Feyenoord, Eagles of Forward, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Rome and the Bernese young men.
