Bell, Henry and others talked about Liverpool's 1-0 Real Madrid game on the CBS Champions League program.

Bell: "I think the problem is the spark that Henry and I talked about. We didn't see Mbappe and Vinicius working their magic at the last moment to help the team get back into the game. The performance of the team's frontcourt was a bit disappointing and did not show the level that Real Madrid players should have."

Q: Because we have also discussed that space before. Vinicius is very fast and we have seen Mbappe play like this, but I have not seen Vinicius do this today. Why do they always pause?

Bale: "It's frustrating. I think it probably complicates it, and sometimes you just have to try to break through and test the defender. They're obviously faster than anybody on the field.

So, only they can answer those questions. But I think maybe they don't do it because there's no one else in the penalty area waiting for the cross. Maybe a true number nine is needed."
