In the final of the Spanish Second Division upgrade play-off, Cazorla became the oldest goal scorer at 40 years old and 190 days, breaking the record set by Carlos Ruiz (38 years old and 334 days) when he represented Tenerife in the Spanish Second Division upgrade play-off in 2022.
