According to Ashish Mathur, an NBA executive predicts that if LeBron James becomes a free agent tomorrow, the Cavaliers, Warriors and Mavericks will pursue him.

The executive said: "The Cleveland Cavaliers, the Dallas Mavericks and the Golden State Warriors are all thinking about it. All three would have loved to trade for him this offseason, but he never requested a trade and he makes way too much money. Once he becomes a free agent, these three teams will actively pursue him. I have no doubt about that."
