Speaking of Norman Powell, Law Murray wrote: "Powell is probably the most interested trader in the Clippers, whether this offseason or next February's trade deadline. The Clippers may want to improve their strength by introducing an influential big player. However, given Harden's high load last season and Leonard's challenges in durability and attendance, Powell, as a player who has outstanding performance in both ball and off-ball, may need to stay with the Clippers at the beginning of the new season."

2024-25 season, Powell averaged 21.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.2 steals.
