When asked what he expected from James to his 23rd season, Redick said: "I never take everything he did and what he still does for granted. In February after the All-Star game, against the Trail Blazers on the second night of the back-to-back game, that game will always be remembered in my heart. He had good reasons to take that game off, but he was so invested in basketball and has been so much so I don't think what I expected of him would change."
