Recently, 76ers star Allen Iverson talked about his childhood on the podcast Breakfast Club Power 105.1 FM.
"When I was a kid, I dressed like a drug dealer because I couldn't afford those decent clothes. I had cornrows because barbers always messed up my hair. I had a tattoo, but I couldn't afford more. All of this was part of my growing up. I rarely saw my father, who was always running around outside, and my mother didn't give me a systematic guidance. So I figured it all out on my own." Iverson said.
